I’m a registered Patent Agent, Trademark Attorney, IP Consultant, and Advocate with strong expertise in Intellectual Property Rights. With 5 years of hands-on experience in Patent, Design, Copyright and Trademark, I’ve worked extensively with individuals, Startups, institutions, and businesses to protect their innovations and brand assets.
From conducting Prior art Searches to Drafting Patent Specifications and attending Hearings, I’ve assisted clients across technical and creative fields to secure their IP. My approach combines legal precision with practical strategy to ensure your ideas are not just protected — but respected in the marketplace.

Umeshkumar K.U. is a Registered Indian Patent Agent, Certified Licensing Professional Associate (CLP-A), and Candidate RTTP with over six years of experience in IP management, technology transfer, and innovation strategy. He supports academic institutions and startups in building effective IP frameworks, commercialization pathways, and innovation ecosystems.
With expertise in patent drafting, prosecution, FTO analysis, and IP valuation, he has facilitated over 250 patent applications, achieving a grant success rate above 90%, and has attended 100+ patent hearings. He guides teams through the entire IP lifecycle—from ideation to grant.
Umeshkumar holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology (thesis submitted) from Nirwan University, Jaipur, focused on genetic evolution in the Pasteurellaceae family, along with a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology. He has multiple research publications and patents, bridging scientific research with market application to drive innovation-led growth in academic and research environments.
